6 Collages 6 Ways
Fri, March 20, 2009 at 06:00AM These six collages were made in the same way on the same day. I experimented with 6 different techniques as the week progressed. Click each collage to link to a post describing the process from collage to finished art journal background, ready for journaling or a quote.

I love them all and have read each blog post with them. Great techniques all...which do you like the best?
Peace & Love,

The one in the middle with the orange in the top left corner is really lovely
Barb ~ I guess I like them all for different reasons. They will evolve as words are added!
Wonderful post! Love seeing the many ways you've made your collages... the colors are lovely! Thank you very much for sharing your vision with us! And I LOVE your banner... really wonderful!
Hi Tammy,
I have reached your site from CDE challenge.
I love you wonderful collages and all your art works and I admire your creativity.
I have something for you on my blog, as an appreciation of all your creative work. I hope it is not offending in any way.
Maia, Thank you for your incredible kindness!!! I will pass the award along in the weeks ahead;)
Tammy,
I love the effect of edging with the Neocolor crayons. But how does that effect later on the ability to write on the surface?
Diane
Rather than journaling on everything, I leave part of the page open or prepped with gesso for future journaling or I will adhere words journaled on paper. It's an excellent question, Diane... I'll try writing with a black brush pittpen as it can write on almost anything!
Wonderful creations! Well done!
