6 Collages 6 Ways

These six collages were made in the same way on the same day. I experimented with 6 different techniques as the week progressed. Click each collage to link to a post describing the process from collage to finished art journal background, ready for journaling or a quote.

Tammy,

I love the effect of edging with the Neocolor crayons. But how does that effect later on the ability to write on the surface?

Rather than journaling on everything, I leave part of the page open or prepped with gesso for future journaling or I will adhere words journaled on paper. It's an excellent question, Diane... I'll try writing with a black brush pittpen as it can write on almost anything!
