Here's the important part -----> Use the phrases to jump start your creativity in whatever way works for you. You can even skip a word! Try them literally, figuratively, symbolically, energetically! You can turn phrases into feelings.... you can use parts of objects to symbolize an object... anything goes.

And a little note about "haiku 5-7-5" which simply means to use a haiku {in the form 5 syllables, 7 syllables, 5 syllables} in your work somehow. There are different types of haiku.
