Daily Paper Prompt #13: Music

Create imagery from a favorite song on an index card. When you listen to that song, what do you see? For example, when I listen to a particular Shakira song, I see purple velvet draperies swaying as a backdrop to the song. This is my interpretation. Pick a song, think about the colors or textures that you see when yo hear the song. Something that in your mind would "match" the flow of the song. And create a texture or page with that color or theme.
There's a song by Enya that I like to envision with long narrow blue and white ribbons unfurling and swirling in the wind.
This is so absolutely not scientific.
There isn't any RIGHT. Ignore your analytical side while you paint, just try to match a feeling to a page.

Where is DPP #12? I have it marked down, I have done it, but I don't see it here. Am I just going past it somehow?
The DPP #13 music prompt was enjoyable. I painted and collaged a tribute for a female Hawaiian group called Na Leo, which is comprised of 3 childhood friends.
I used to live in Hawaii, and I miss it so much. Na Leo takes me back there very time I hear their music.
See my Na Leo DPP at our flickr group and see Na Leo at youtube if you want to be transported to sea breezy paradise.

The music prompt was fun. Interesting to listen to the beat of music & let the hand dance with the paint brush.
